117. Circaea pacifica A. & M.
Lagunitas Creek, Marin County, in the Transition Zone from
the village of Lagunitas to Camp Taylor. Growing in soil rich
with decaying vegetation, in dense shade of groves of Sequoia sem-
pervirens.
The slender rootstocks produce tuber-like thickenings.
