Rd. #2489) in Colville National Forest, SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 Section 7 T.35N R.43E; 45% slope, southern exposure, decomposed granite-sandy; south facing slope in open Pseudotsuga/Arctostaphylos/ Vaccinium community; occasional with Vaccinium scoparium, Pachistima myrsinites, Pinus contorta, Festuca idahoensis, Amelanchier alnifolia and Arctostaphylos uva-ursi; small blue and white flowers, plants reddish in color; height 1-1.5 decimeters.
