Very abundant, only on top of mountain.

Description
Creeping on ground and reaching about 30 m in length, rooting from the nodes, then climbing to ca. 10-15 m, and branching. Culms solid. Sheaths of new culms persistant with long triangular, erect blades. Buds germinating in opposite direction from the culm leaf. Rhizome rather small. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
