on northern flank of Agua Tibia Mountain at the north base of
Wildhorse Peak, along the Wildhorse Trail southeast of its junction
with the Dripping Springs Trail. T8S R1W SW1/4 NE1/4 sec.
27. Near 33n27'03"N 116a58'13"W. Elev. ca. 2000 feet.
Chaparral on slopes of Adenostoma fasciculatum, A. sparsifolium,
Ceanothus crassifolius, C. leucodermis, Arctostaphylos glandulosa,
Quercus berberidifolia, and Eriodictyon crassifoliwn recovering
from the 1989 fire.
Erect annual, upper corolla lip lavender, lower violet-purple.
Occasional along trail and in chaparral openings.
