Narrow dry wash between high steep walls with some dry waterfall areas around exposed limestone with bands of iron. Associated species: Fallugia paradoxa, Purshia stansburiana, Prunus fasciculata, & Symphoricarpos.

Annual herb to 25 cm. Corolla lavender. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
