Description
Low branched shrub 1 m. tall in cerrado. Bark thick, corky, longitudinally furrowed, light brown to pale grey. Leaves plane, erect, medium green, shiny above with light green midrib; very pale glaucous green beneath with yellowish midrib. Twigs light reddish to greyish brown. Buds creamy yellow.
