Unshaded grassy roadside, seldom mowed, with typical weeds,
many introduced from Eurasia, in rich, disturbed soils of the area.
With Thladiantha dubia (first collection in Wisconsin), Physalis
longifolia, Solanum carolinense, Verbena hastata, Setaria glauca,
S. faberi, Chenopodium album; Amaranthus hybridus,
Parthenocissus inserta, Achillea millefolium, Ambrosia
artemisiifolia, A. trifida, Cichorium intybus, Echinocystis lobata,
Polygonum scandens, Saponaria officinalis, Asclepias syriaca,
Daucus carota, Heracleum lanatum, Pastinaca sativa, Plantago
cf. rugelii.
Flowers with light but very pleasant fragrance. Petals very
pale pink, almost white.
