Primary forest. Locally common in primary forest.

Description
Long-pendent epiphyte, from lignotuber. Leaves involute, hiding flowers and fruits. Calyx pale green. Corolla dark maroon-red. Berry translucent cream. Locally common in primary forest. [DNA; pickled].
