Slopes largely vested in impenetrable chaparral —
the kind that crazy botanists will still try to penetrate.
Localized annual in sunny opening; capsule ca 0.9-
1.0 nun broad; hypanthium ca 1.2 mm; sepals ca 2.5-3.0
mm; petals ca 4.5 mm, yellow.
