TEMESCAL CANYON: Stable alluvial benches of Indian
wash just south of Interstate 15. Alluvial fan scrub
with Lepidospartum, Rhus ovata, Eriogonum fascicula-
tum. Robust annual; steins ascending with ex-
foliating epidermis, flowers small yellow, caps
contorted. Infrequent in open sandy wash.
