    Note: Annotation by J. Monachino, 1958: Does not conform with other specimens of Justicia ovata)=Justicia lanceolata). Seeds villose, stems spreading pilose, etc. Agrees with Small's 12682 from Mascottem Dec. 4, 1925. This species is not treated in Small's Manual. Is it sp. nov.?
