DINO NATIONAL FOREST: Mormon Rocks and Cajon Can-
yon, elev. c. 3^00 ft; desert wash and sandy S-
facing slopes of sandstone hogbacks, with Lasthenia
chrysostoma, Amsincjcia tessellata, Miraulus bigelovii,
Descurainia sophia, D. pinnata, etc.; hairy peren-
nial with red flowers & bracts.
