ca. 3 mi W of Mt. Eddy; elevation 6260
feet; wet meadows dissected with streams
and surrounded by woods dominated by
Pinus jeffreyi, Calocedrus and Ceanothus
cuneatus; common perennials; distal one-
half of bracts reddish-orange; calyx
red-tipped; corolla yellowish-green with
red tinge on margins of g^lea
