Flat, grazed grassy savanna with regularly spaced brush-covered ant/termite mounts with Brosimum gaudichaudii, Curatella americana, Simarouba, Cybistax antisyphilitica, on fine recent alluvium.

Description
Slender shrubs 1.5-3 m. tall. Leaves pale silvery or tan beneath. Inflorescence terminal, heavy, droopy, fruit green, then dark purple.
