High montane oak forest with trees 8-20 m. tall on slopes and ridges,
along the trail from Canaán to Chirripó via Los Angeles, above (north
of) the Rio Talari at 3100-3200 m. altitude. Prov. San José. 9° 30' N.
x 83° 32' W.
