Location

United States of America. Georgia. Gwinnett Co. Between Rockbridge and Snellville on Route 10, near banks of Yellow River, behind car mechanic ca 200 m SE of bridge.

Habitat

Terrace of Yellow River with strips of woods and thickets; abundant Quercus nigra, Liquidambar and Pinus taeda; other trees Q. alba, Q. rubra, Fraxinus biltmoreana, F. pennsylvanica, Nyssa biflora, Platanus, Liriodendron, Diospyros, Catalpa ?bignonioides; shrub layer Ligustrum sinense, Arundinaria, (Acer leucoderme), (Tilia caroliniana), (Celtis pumila), Vitis baileyana, Halesia ?tetraptera, Carpinus, Ostrya, Smilax bonanox, S. glauca, Asimina ?triloba; ground Chasmanthium sessilifolium, Elephantopus tomentosa, Microstegium, Gelsemium, Cocculus, (Elymus villosus).
