Riparian woods and thickets along Little River, flowing through granite dome; frequent Liquidambar, Acer rubrum var. trilobum, Ulmus americana, Fraxinus caroliniana, F. cf. pauciflora, Juniperus; other trees U. alata, Nyssa, Liriodendron, Platanus, Albizzia, Betula nigra, Quercus nigra, Q. alba, Carya glabra; shrub layer Carpinus (to 4 dm dbh), Cornus florida, Smilax bonanox, Lonicera japonica, Vitis rotundifolia, V. cinerea, Rubus argutus, Arundinaria ?tecta; ground grassy, Cinna, Microstegium, Panicum spp., Apios, ?Helianthus, Hypericum ?tubulosum, Chamaecrista nictitans, etc.
