Dry ’savannah’ on white sand with Curatella shrubs to 2m high,
occasional fires occur. Close to Cyperaceae 2894, 2896-8,
2900-1, 2903 and grasses 2895, 2899, and 2902
Common grass, tufted, to 40cm high. Many dead leaves. Culm
blue-green, area around nodes dark blackish-red, grading into
pink and olive-green. Spikelets mauve-red and pale yellow.
