In a moist, shaded recess of a small cliff on a steep open slope.
Valley at bottom of Sama escarpment with broad, stony river bed and
relic Podocarpus forest on riverside terraces and in quebradas, passing
to bare grassy slopes above.
Succulent herb with erect stems to c 50cm. Flowers cream
