In intermittent drainage into pond; on steep, south-
east-facing slope; oak-hickory canopy; on north end
of southern portion of Paris Island in the Savannah
River. Site #105 (Lat. SA'WAS"; Long. 82°39,09").
ca. 0.75 mile north of the Ga. 72 bridge over the
Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour (full
pool for proposed Russell Lake).
