    In level inter-dunal depression. In primary community, behind advancing sand dunes with Oenothera psammophila, Elymus flavescens, Oryzopsis hymenoides, and Psorolea lanceolata. Also observed in nearby sage-grass association on basalt outcrop with Oenothera caespitosa var. marginata. Abundant. In sand-filled cracks of basalt outcrop.
