Road D063; small, rhyolite hill in the SE
foothills of the Dona Ana Mountains; near a
dirt road that extends U from the stone gate
on Jornada Road (U center of T21S R 2 E; 106
45* U 32 30' N); annual, up to 10 inches
tall; medium to pale blue corolla, about 3mm
across; tube nearly closed by pale yellow
fornices; very large patch of about 200
plants on SE-facing, unshaded, unbroken rock
around a small, abandoned mine; elevation
4600 ft.
Associated: creosote, Tecoma, Alloysia,
Salvia, Mentzefia, Ocotillo, Dasylirion,
