Heller) Thorne Liebre Mountains region, Agua Dulce Canyon, just north of Highway 14 and the confluence with Escondido Canyon, along Agua Dulce Canyon Road. Near 34° 28’ 14.1”N 1)8° 19’ 51.1s’W. T5N R14W NE !/4 SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec. 34. Elev. ca. 2200 ft. Somewhat disturbed canyon bottom with gravelly benches and down-cut channel. Surrounding slopes of steep, eroded cobbley sedimentary deposits. Riparian strip with Baccharis salicifolia, Sahx lasiolepis, Salix exigua, Ambrosia psilostachya, and Toxicodendron diversilobum. Surrounding slopes with low, open scrub of Eriogonum fasciculatum, Yucca whipplei, and Salvia apiana. Perennial herb, leaves blue-green and glaucous, flowers white.
