Streptanthus barbiger Greene
Mostly slender plants, but up to two feet tall and 1.5 feet wide;
leaves glaucous, somewhat succulent, linear, channeled, arcuate;
petals white with yellowish tinged veins; pods spreading. Single
large colony on serpentine in chaparral (mostly Quercus durata,
Adenostoma fasciculatum, Arctostaphylos sp.), altitude ca. 3500
feet. Paskenta-Colyer Springs road 0.4 miles below Franklin
Point road junction and ¿30.3 miles northwest of Paskenta, 100
yards outside east boundry of Mendocino National Forest,
Tehama County.
