    About 2.5 ft tall to vegetative florettes; leaves oblong and serrated; (probably pink/purple flowers when in flower); thistle-like tubular roots coming out in cones from stem. In seed, mature seed pods. 257 plants in drainage, more further up on private property. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
