Anthropogenically disturbed site; native vegetation
(based on vegetation on the adjacent slopes) was
originally a pinyon-juniper woodland with some desert
transition chaparral elements, namely: Pinus monophylla,
Juniperus calijbrnica, Prunus ilicifolia, Ephedra
nevadensis, Grayia spinosa, Yucca whipplei caespitosa, Y.
brevifolia, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Purshia tridentata
glandulosa, Krasheninnikovia lanata, etc..
Suffrutescent perennial, fairly localized; corollas
bright yellow.
