Hundreds of plants inhabiting roughly 200 m2 of exploratory
drill pad. Dry, sandy soil, in full sun. Not seen elsewhere in the area.
Flowers yellow.
Sparse vegetation includes Danthonia spicata, Conyza canadensis,
Pteridium aquilinum, Agrostis hyemale, Fallopia cilinodis, Rumex
acetocella, Polygonum aviculare, and Chaenorrhinum minus. Site
surrounded by scattered young Pinus banksiana and P. strobus.
