Habitat
Dense, tall, partly deciduous seasonal forest. With Cactaceae, Syagrus coronata, Bombacaceae, Tillandsia, and other terrestrial and epiphytic bromeliads. Many species wilted due to stress.

Description
Terrestrial. Leaves pale green; inflorescence rachis white floccose; bracts orange; developing fruits with ovaries white with green tops and orange beaks. Corollas old, withered. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
