Rincon Peak 7.5' USGS topographic Quadrangle; 12S 05 37 lOOmE 35 48 250mN (NAD27); 32° 04.3^ 110° 36.4'W; 1105m (3620ft) elevation; Rincon Mountains, Posta Quemado Canyon, 20km SE of the edge of Tucson, 2.5km WSW of Papago Spring, flood plain of narrow valley, desert scrub with Acacia greggii, Acourtia nana, Agave palmeri, Aloysia wrightii, Ambrosia confertiflora, Aristida purpurea, Berberis trifoliata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Carnegiea gigantea, Celtis reticulata, Cottea pappophoroides, Cylindropuntia leptocaulis, Digitaria californica, Echinocereus fasciculatus, Ephedra trifurca, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Ferocactus wislizeni, Gutierrezia sarothrae, Hibiscus denudatus, Isocoma tenuisecta, Krameria erecta, Larrea tridentata, Machaeranthera canescens, M. pinnatifida, Matelea producta, Muhlenbergia porteri, Opuntia engelmannii, O. phaeacantha, Pappophorum vaginatum, Parthenium incanum, Prosopis velutina, Psilostrophe cooperi, Rhynchosia physocalyx, Sporobolus contractus, Tridens muticus, Zinnia acerosa, and Ziziphus obtusifolia.
