left side of Mazaruni). 1.22 miles Southeast from base camp at base of
tepui. Elevation: 584 m. 5°36'4.3"N 60° 12'51.2"W. Primary, alluvial
forest. White sand and sandstone. Eperua and Dicymbe dominant. Erect
herb. Fruiting specimen only. Berry bright red. Infrequent. Ant domcia
present. NOTE: leaf cutter ant damage post collection.
