Campininha, just north of Rio Moji-Quagu. 10 km. N of
PADUA SALES. 22°11-18’S 47°7-10’W. (About 27 km. NW of city
of MOJI-MIRIM.) Alt. -650 m.
General vegetation: campo cerrado on upland (or occasionaily
forest). Open marsh or dense secondary forest along streams.
This habitat: cut-over & burned campo cerrado, ground ploughed
for planting of Pinus. Ground vegetation returning, grasses, herbs,
& small shrubs. Soil poor, reddish-brown fine sand with a little clay.
