Tree 15 m tall, diameter 15 cm. Leaves have 1-4 pairs of leaflets per leaf.
Inflorescences are cauliflorous to the ground. Only old inflorescences
collected.
Additional material in AAU: wood, young inflorescencebud in alcohol.
Local name: Condor caspi (Quichua).
Uses: Women use pieces of bark, if they have too long periods or pains during
their periods (informant: Jose Grefa and his wife).
