Huge forest tree, c. 30 m tall. DBH: 100 cm, recently felled by
thunderstorm. Leaflets thick leathery, somewhat glossy,
medium green above, beneath dull, much paler green, midrib
prominent, pale brown. Leaves imparipinnate. Leaves 3-4
jugate.
Sepals 5, spreading to somewhat reflexed, olive green inside,
brownish outside. Infrastaminal disc olive. Stamens 2. Young
anthers yellow, brown at anthesis. Petals seemingly absent.
Flowers delicately sweet fragrant.
