GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Iwokrama Forest Reserve. Base of
Turtle Mountain in gap clearing. Elevation: 255 m. 4°43'56.2"N
58°44'1.6"W. White sand. Tree, 20-25m tall, 35 cm dbh. Flowers: sepals
pink; petals white, dorsal one larger than other four. Small worms found
inside buds. Flowering only. Silica sample and flowers in alcohol.
