Puente Nacional to Huatusco, approx.
20km NE of Huatusco.
Large tree with a long, more or less
straight bole to 15m ht. and heavy	i
branching above with a flat-topped
spreading crown; total ht. 25m. Bark
initially smooth, green, becoming pale
grey, inner bark green then pale creamy
pink. Leaves very large to 2m length, 2
pinnae collected per specimen. Ripe
pods, winged, mid to dark brown with a
rough crazed surface and a papery straw
brown endocarp, seeds dark olive
green-brown.	^|
Very abundant, probably cultivated as a
shade tree over coffee with Inga and
mango.
