Riparian ravine with massive sandstone cliffs and overhangs and acid forest with mixed hardwoods (Alnus, Carpinus, Cornus, Fagus, Hamamelis, Magnolia, Ostrya, Oxydendrum, Quercus alba) and conifers (Tsuga canadensis dominant, Pinus taeda) with understory of Kalmia. on Quercus prinus.
