Topotype of A. latifolia Suksd.
Prostrate annual, much-branched and spreading to form dense
floriferous mats 1-3 m. across; corolla yellow with red markings,
8-10 mm. broad; the two heterostylic flower forms, and a homo-
sty lie long-styled form, are present. Open grassland of bluff above
sea cliff. Altitude 100 feet. Hill 108 between Horseshoe Cove
and Mussel Point, north end of Bodega Head,
Sonoma County.
