Kern Co.: 4.9 mi. from jet. of Lake Isabel 1 e Blvd. (old #178) and Erskine Creek Road. Recently burned, just above Erskine Creek lined with Salix and occas. Populus and Platanus. El.‘ 3400'. T27S, R33E, S15. Digger pine-oak chaparral. Scattered individuals along creek. Very viscid hairy; flowers purple. Non-native? Richard Olmstead 817 10 June 1986 det. M. Arnot, G. Patrick 03211500
