Habitat
Sandstone rocks, with open sand in flatter areas. This plant growing in low woodland. Open scrub in exposed sites, to scattered woodland & marsh.

Description
Tree to 6 m. with bushy crown, with spreading branches. Leaves coriaceous with acicular tips, dull green. Young male inflorescences yellow green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
