DOUGLAS COUNTY (near Jackson Co. border): ABBOTT BUTTE.
In moss and thin soil on rocks forming dense clumps up
to 10 - 15 (20) cm across, locally abundant on open, a
S facing, sunny, wet areas along and in a small stream,
the young plants often submerged} with Saxifraga cf.
integrifolia, Lewisia trlphylla, Floerkea proserplna-
coides. occasional Hesperochiron pumlla. Allium sp.;
through ca. 20 m elevation change on 0 - 90° slope, ca.
1850 m elevation. Grass-sedge meadow ca. O.U km south
of Lookout, just east of rock outcrop (which is part of
a ridge on the west edge of the meadow); T3G6, R2E, sec-
tion 23: extreme S, cen-
tral.—Plants succulent.
