  • Description

    Shrub 1.5-2 m. tall, branched, without an erect central stem. Inflorescences showy, each a mass of lavender corollas, similar to the inflorescences of Solanum tuberosum, but flowers smaller; flowers lightly fragrant, with a greenish purple star in center of corolla, the corolla lighter violet when first opening. Fruit green, on reflexed pedicels. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
