Leon County: Apalachicola National Forest, S of and on
the side of Florida Rt. 267 opposite Wakulla workstation.
Abundant in longleaf plne-wiregrass flatwoods.
Well-drained area that had been control-burned probably
in spring 1992. Some associates: Liatris gracilis, L.
tenuifolia, Pityopsis graminifoiia.
