Nemophila aurita Lindl.
No. 8516, collected May 18, on Stevens creek near Soda
Rock, Santa Clara county, elevation 700 feet, in moist places
climbing over shrubs. Also found in the foothills of the mid-
dle Coast Range back of San Jose, but does not occur north of
the Bay.
