Cisco, Placer County, Upper Transition Zone, at an altitude of
1804 m. Type locality.
Plants always in stony soil, often from between small stones.
Stems glaucous with a bluish bloom. Corolla dull white (not
blue), thin and nearly transparent between the thick nerves;
lobes obtuse, one-half as long as tube; scales linear, curved inward
in pairs to form a shallow, yellow depression at base of filament.
