Charleston Id}s., near the bottom of the
valley between the Charleston Mts. and the
Sheep Mts., about 25 miles northwest of Las
Vegas, in the Larrea community. Sparse and
seen only where the soil is influenced by
peduliar clay deposits which stand up above
the general level of the gravelly fan. Twp.
17 S., R# £8 E., about S. 25. Elevation
about 3100 feet.
Flowers lavender.
