Liatris gracilis Pursh
Wakulla County: wet pine flatwoods, in a place
where there was soil disturbance from forest
service vehicular traffic. Apalachicola Nation-
al Forest, by forest road 113, 4.2 miles S of
its junction with Fla. Rd 267,generally somewhat
SW of Wakulla and NW of Crawfordville. Some
associates: Eupatorium ap. mohrii, Carphephorus
paniculata, Cyrilla racemiflora, Solidago stric-
ta, Xyris sp., Rhexia mariana, Lyonia lucida,
Andropogon virginicus var. glaucus, Sabatia
brevifolia, Solidago fistulosa, and others.
