Fairly dry wiregrass - slash pine flatwoods;
along U. S. Rt. 98 ca. U miles W of Santa
Rosa Beach Rd. Area had been burned during
summer, then shoots of this plant had come
up and were blooming late, the shoots much
less vigorous than for the species generally.
