Mayfield, 1992 NUECES CO: West side of Flour Bluff in a vacant lot along Purdue St. across from Retta Drive (NE side of Purdue); scrubby hummocks of Live Oak and Ilex vomitoria with inter- vening grassy, open, seasonally wet, swales. 17 FT; N 27 39’15" W 97 17*41" Probably the FI hybrid of Liatris elegans and L. aff. pycnostachya both found here.
