Mount Diablo, Contra Costa County, in the Upper Sonoran Zone,
at an altitude of 1140 m.
Found only on embankments along a new road. The surrounding
vegetation is composed of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus cune-
atus, Quercus dumosa, etc.
Corolla dull white, each obtuse lobe with 1 median line of violet
which continues down the throat.
