Habitat: Cracks and ledges in basalt cliffs and outcrops.
Associated species: Haplopappus resinosus, Heuchera cylindrica,
Cymopteris terebinthinus, Eriogonum sphaerocephalum.
Penstemon richardsonii, Agropyron spicatum and
Artemisia tridentata.
Number of individuals: Locally common
